I use a web-based point of sale solution which prints text-only receipts on a thermal receipt printer (citizen 4000) which in turn pops open an attached cash drawer. When using Firefox 4 to print the text is very grainy, and very hard to read. If I have Firefox print the same receipt to a normal piece of paper in a laser printer, it prints very clear and crisp. When using Opera 11 or IE9, the print is crisp on the thermal receipt printer. It is not an option withing my printers preferences as those are the same globally between browsers. Any ideas what may be causing this? I would love to use Firefox exclusivly but this is holding me back. Thanks for any input.
