How do I enable window chrome (like maximize and quit buttons)?

Firefox 3.6.6 on Linux (Ubuntu 10.4). Somehow yesterday I managed to click some keys on my keyboard (dropped the phone on them) and the window edge around Firefox vanished. Now, to close Firefox I have to click the File menu, then Quit instead of just clicking the "close" button at the top of the screen. Of course, the minimize and restore buttons are also gone. The Firefox menus also seem to autohide, which annoys me. I cannot seem to find a way to restore the window chrome or turn off autohiding. What the heck did my phone click when it hit the keyboard?

F11 toggles the Full Screen mode on & off, sounds like you're in Full Screen.

Thanks for the thought. I considered the same, but F11 didn't seem to help.

Honestly, I got so frustrated that I simply removed FireFox and re-installed it. That fixed it and only took a couple of minutes, as opposed to perhaps an hour trying to troubleshoot the problem. Of course, if it should happen again, I won't know what to do to fix it; but I'll be more careful with the phone from now on ;)

Sounds that you have entered Full Screen mode. Press F11 to toggle.
