intrusive notifications
Hi I bought a PC with McAfee on it, but it had expired.. I use s different anti-virus which is much better. But they have started chasing their subscription, and warning me of viruses which don't exist. I have tried to block it through Mozilla permissions section but couldn't. It sits in the bottom r/h corner of the screen, blocking any chatbox that uses that bit of screen. I can't get rid of it. Can anyone help? Ken

The small popups on bottom right corner of Firefox windows may be web push notifications from sites you have allowed to send you notifications. Instead of useful information some may send junk, spam, fake virus/trojan alerts etc. You can revoke these sites from sending notifications as second link above shows.
