Firefox takes a long time to reconnect to internet after hibernation. Win11
I am a very long-term user of Firefox. I have a newish windows laptop and I use the hibernate function when I want to start and stop a windows session. I have been using windows 11 for a good while now without any problem, but about 6 weeks ago I started to get a new problem - Firefox now can take up to 4 minutes to load or reload a page after hibernation. The length of time to reconnect time varies. This only affects Firefox. There is no problem with my internet - other programmes and apps load immediately, and at the same time as Firefox is still trying to load a page/any page I haven't added any new add-ons and can't think of anything I've done that could cause this issue. I thought this would be a windows 11 issue caused after an update, but after a bit of searching on Google, Reddit and Mozilla Help/ I can't find anyone else with a similar problem.
Can someone help? Thanks

Sorry - more info: Once Firefox finally connects to the net, everything is fine and normal.
Assuming this is with Wi-Fi, does it start working when toggling Wi-Fi off and on again?
Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.
Toggling wi-fi makes no difference. Thanks for the info on the new profile - I'll try it
New profile sorted the problem thank you
