</p><p>i know there are issues with security software, but the only thing i have is windows defender. unless a vpn counts? are there other kinds of software i should look out for? my other theory is that it might be malware, so ill run a full scan when i get the chance. aside from that, im completely stumped.

</p><p>You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.

(shown in the screenshot from before)
</p><p>well, there is one file in it named install time. i didnt think it was relevant, but the number in that file is 1679721482.
</p><p>if you can't help me without a crash report ID, it's fine, it's probably an issue with my computer or something and i can go get it looked at. just thought i'd ask here in case you could figure it out better than i can. either way, thanks for your help.
