Firefox 94.0 on Windows 11 Will Not Open Maximized

Firefox 94.0 (64 bit) is installed on Windows 11 Pro 21H2 (build 22000.282). It is launched from a desktop icon. "Run" is set to "Maximized" in the shortcut tab of the icon's properties dialog.

Firefox opens in an approximately square window almost the height of the screen between the taskbar and the top of the screen. This appears to be the same size as the larger pane in the Windows 11 two-unequal-pane snap layout, but the pane is shifted to the right.

Clicking on the maximize button maximizes the Firefox window.

Did adding the ability to take advantage of the Windows 11 snap layouts (a good thing) disable the ability to comply with the Run setting in the shortcut properties dialog?
