Missing bookmark icons

I have Firefox version 43.0 but problem has been there long before the update.. Some Bookmark icons missing most of the time and then appear occasionally. Others are there all the time. Missing icons appear as an empty box. I have installed no themes. I have the following ADD-ON’s installed: 

   “Download YouTube Videos”
   “Roomy Bookmarks”
   “Super Video Downloader”

I installed “Roomy Bookmarks” in an attempt to solve problem. It did not. I have tried everything in “Help” but nothing works. Can I save my icons to another location and direct Firefox to that location to get icons like you can in Internet Explorer, or can I install web location of icon in Bookmark and prevent it from being changed. If so please give detailed instructions. I cannot find where icons or favicons are saved for Bookmarks.
