Hi all. Thanks for a wonderful product.

So, have 10 email addresses. None f them has tons of old email. Even with just two emails in trast, two in sent items. Compacted the folders. still get message "There is not enough disk space". This error comes not on downloading but when I need to delete an email out of the inbox. O yes. My inbox has 1 email in it.

Worked fine in my Windows 7, upgraded to 10. Copied the appdata folders back, installed Thunderbird.

Copies how... CD/DVD copies make files read only which would give that error

When I reload a pc, the appdata folders is copied back to their original locations. That restores all application settings. I have reset readonly and security permisions on appdata\local\Thunderbird, as well as appdata\roaming\Thunderbird.

The thing is. When I clear my trash folder, with two emails in it, then i can delete the emails in the inbox. Otherwise the error comes up.

Right click the trash folder and select properties. What size is it on disk?

Right clicking and selecting empty deletes the existing trash file and a new one is created. It could be that there is actually something wrong with the one you copied as a file level that replacement clears.

Hi there,

21 mails but 0 Kb on disk.

That is what I have to do every time, is empty deleted items then I can delete messages again. But only until I close and reopen Thunderbird.

Just to remind you, 10 email addresses, all of them is doing it.

So: Downloading works fine. Then when I want to delete the email, it says not enough space to download mails. Then I empty deleted items, then I can delete without the error.

Sorry for the hassle and thanks again for helping
