How do I change sign in information for a particular web site that is in my browse?

The wrong information comes up on a particular web site and I need to change both the user name and password. All other sites are correct - how do I change just the info for this one web site. Thank you so much.

Hi

I hope I have understood your Question correct, To "edit" saved passwords in Firefox, there is a add-on called "Saved Password Editor" you can take a look at. I use it myself and really like it. You can find it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/saved-password-editor.

 B.R.

Or if you just need to remove one, you can used the Saved Passwords dialog here (it does not allow editing):

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Security > "Saved Passwords"

You can use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:

  1. click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
  2. highlight an entry in the drop-down list with the mouse or cursor Down key
do not click the mouse or press the Enter key
  3. press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to delete the highlighted entry

I went to the tools menu in Firefox but there is no options option - so I'm confused as to where I find this. I also don't know how to find the Saved Passwords dialog box - where is this.

Sorry, I forget to check... "Options" is used on Windows. On Mac, it's under Firefox > Preferences, or "3-bar" menu button > Preferences.
