Crashes on some sites when they are roughly 1/2 way loaded. PCLinuxOS 2015. Example: Crashed in Gmail when I opened a link in an How to Geek article. I can't be more specific as it does seem to be random.

Crash report: bp-5f5028bb-64b5-43d7-b551-acf1e2140823.txt Doesn't seem to crash in Windows 7 32 bit.

Side note, Pale Moon will also crash if I have both browsers open, even if I am not on the same site.

You can also check for issues caused by plugins and set all plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins" page.

Plugins are not affected by Firefox Safe Mode.

The crash report indicates that the crash was caused by your graphics drivers. Disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox may stop the crashes. Otherwise updating or changing your graphics drivers might also help.

You will need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps:

  1. Open Firefox Options window (Preferences on Mac or Linux) as follows:
    • In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button New Fx Menu and select Options for Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux.
    • In Firefox 28.0 and previous versions, click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
  2. In the Firefox Options (or Preferences) window, click the Advanced tab, then select General.
  3. In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
  4. Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

Thank you all for the help. I updated to Kernel 3.19.5 pae and that seems to have solved the problem.
