If you update to Firefox 35.0.1 we have added the ability to swipe away autocomplete entries.

If you don't have a device with the Play store we recommend using the Aurora build of Firefox which self updates. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#developer

If you want to continue with the release build https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/latest/android/multi/
