Whos the supervillain that came up with this?
Story time.
So you're surfing the internet having a good ol' time right? When all of the sudden, oh my god! A virus or some other type of malware is trying to install itself on your pc, GASP!
What do you do? Well you ctrl, alt delete that S.O.B. and BAM! Your browser closes and problem averted! Thank god, right?
Relieved, you then reopen your browser hoping to go about your business and to your horror, your browser is for some reason trying to commit suicide by GOING STRAIGHT BACK TO THE PLACE THAT GAVE YOU THE %@$#ING VIRUS!!!
You scream, OH MY GOD DAD, GET IN HERE, FIREFOX IS TRYING TO DESTROY MY PC!!!! WHAT SUPER VILLAIN AT MOZILLA IMPLEMENTED THIS EVIL FEATURE?!?!!!
Or... maybe it just keeps reopening to something that simply caused a crash. Not so bad right?
Except that when you keep opening to something that causes a crash, guess what happens? Thats right! It just keeps crashing over and over again forever and ever and ever and ever and ever!
And you never get to use firefox ever again! Unless of course you uninstall it I imagine...maybe.
So heres the question...HOW THE HELL DO YOU DISABLE THIS BROKEN, BRAINLESS ABOMINATION OF A "FEATURE"?
Thanks in advance :)

Hello nofxbox, i love stories :) :)
did you try to seek for malware in pc ? You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
please try all programs, because each one detect different kind of malware
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Of course delete everything malicious you find.
After that probably you are able to start firefox normally again.
I forgot to tell that i like stories with happy end !!! :) :) I hope to have a happy ending :) :)
thank you
There are many fake FBI and Interpol and other name popping up all the time. It's a battle field out there.
Did you tell Firefox to download anything? Or did it start on it's own?
