I was watching anime today on some site and my firefox was downloading many files without my knowledge into my download folder. I'm worried that it can be some viruses? This is a screenshoot. Should i be worried? Thank you for help.

my pc had friend so when i got a new one i lost all of my firefox data, how can i get all of it back so i was forced to start all over, i lost all my, bookmarks, tabs, history and saved passwords

after upgrading to the latest version of fire fox I cannot access the router setup page. I think that the versions after v97 require TLS 1.2 or later. My router apparently does not support this. How can I access my router to update it's firmware. If I can't access the setup pages. Is downgrading to a version before v97 an option? is there any other work around. I want to establish a http:// not https:// connection with the router.

Any way to cast to chromecast with firefox?

It's annoying that I have to use Chrome or Edge to cast youtube to my TV.

Or use my phone. But it's charging atm. So very annoying my favorite browser can't do this simple thing. But all the other browsers can.

When I use Firefox on my Mac, no matter what I have tried it keeps defaulting to the dreaded Bing Search Engine. I understand it has to do with Microsoft, but I don't use any of their products because I don't like them. In settings/search I can restore the default search engines & delete Bing, but it always reverts back to insisting on using Bing again. I have followed several threads about this issue without permanent resolution. Help??

When I download a file before I even have a chance to save or open the file Firefox downloads the file and puts it on my desktop. I have to look at lots of .pdf files and this a bit annoying as I have to keep deleting all the files I dont want. The dialog box opens and I always choose open rather than save but Firefox has already saved a copy to my desktop. How can I stop this autosave please ? Cheers.

I am not sure what has happened but I had tons of passwords saved in my Mozilla browser. I have been using this since 2019 or 2020 and saved all of my passwords there. What happened is I was using my laptop and wasn't aware that the charger is not plugged in. While working my device turned off because of no battery. I connected the charger and restarted my device like normal. After I opened my browser(Mozilla Firefox) and ctrl+shift+t to open all the recently closed tabs, I was amazed to see that it restored many old sites like 1.5 month old websites instead of the one's which I was using. However, the recently closed one's were showing in the history. I opened the tabs from history that I needed and started using it normal. I have using Mozilla Firefox for good 2 years I never felt the need to remember any of my passwords. Everytime I have to create an account on any of the sites I just create a password once, at the time of sign up only and then click on SAVE PASSWORD so I don't have to remember it. I am guessing this is the normal practice that everyone does or may be a cast majority. I was doing my routine work, I tried to login to my account using the same way like you put in your email in the email section and then click on password section and select the user/email you want to use a password for and sign in. BUT TODAY WHEN I FOLLOWED THE SAME PROCEDURE, IT DOESN'T SHOW ME ANY SAVED PASSWORD WHICH WAS QUITE SURPRISING TO ME. I OPENED THE PASSWORD MENU FROM THE TOP RIGHT AND I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT THERE WE ZERO, LITERALLY ZERO SAVED PASSWORDS. I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS BECAUSE THOSE WERE SO MANY PASSWORDS LIKE SERIOUSLY SO MANY.

After the latest Firefox update, some of my sites are returning "Network Protocol" Errors. I can log in on other browsers, but Firefox is the one I normally use.

I changed my home page by mistake. It was yahoo.com. Now it is "Sponsored Search by Quick Forms." How do I get rid of it?

I have had a problem with Gmail since yesterday April 13, which was the same day my browser updated to 99.0.1. I'm using a Windows 10 machine.

Gmail is displaying the "Oops… the system encountered a problem (#001)" error message and will not load my inbox. Other websites in Firefox load fine (including other Google apps like Drive and Calendar), and Gmail works fine in other browsers.

Until recently, I resisted allowing updates for Firefox because of the announcements of changes to prevent access to some technical kinds of website which I use. These include the public websites of the Paris Observatory which include useul informational ftp pages with important text, data and software files.

  I did recently allow a Firefox update, and now I find that I am cut off from access to these ftp pages. 
  How can I re-enable access to ftp? If it can't be done in the new version of Firefox, how can I return to an older Firefox version that does allow such access?

I cannot removed total adblock and especially the ad for total adblock. I tried to follow the instructions, but they do not bring up the menu that they are supposed to bring up. HELP

I just downloaded the latest Firefox 100.0 on my 2020 iMac running MacOS 11.6.5. and watching youtube video that support HDR look horrible. Everything is washed out. Can you please allow us to disable HDR. I have to now watch youtube on Safari or Chrome.
