Every time I close Firefox and open it again, I go to YouTube, and it has me signed out, and I have to sign back in again. Once I have signed in, I can still refresh the page and still be signed in, or open another tab with YouTube with me signed in, but if I close Firefox and open it again, and go to YouTube, I am signed out. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

If I type a search term into the address bar, or type duckduckgo.com into the address bar, I get a long delay and then:

Other sites (google.com) respond instantly, but who wants that?

While trying to log into my Modem gateway I seem to have typed something into the field, and the dialog appeared asking if I wanted to update the password. My finger slipped and I accidentally told it to update, so it saved over the prior password (which I assume would have been the CORRECT password.) Now there's no way to log into my modem gateway manager. There's no recover password option. I don't want to reset the entire modem to factory settings, and thus have to set up all my network and account info from scratch. Isn't there a simple "view password history" option somewhere? It tells me WHEN the password was "updated" but I can't find a way to see WHAT the former saved password was. (Windows 10)

He visto que los colores en general que muestra Firefox son mucho más saturados, aquí les comparto una imagen comparativa de solo una página, pero creo que pasa con todas, alguna idea de por qué y cómo solucionarlo? porque por otro lado, cómo saber cuáles son los colores verdaderos? esas páginas de la imagen estaban en la misma pantalla, así que no tiene que ver con calibración de monitor y así :S

Before I upgraded to 89 (Now, 89.0.2) on my Mac, I had the Mac share menu in the address bar, so I could share urls with other apps on my Mac. It has since disappeared. How do I get it back?

My firefox is slow but not real slow but enough to notice a little bit. It does take a minute to first load. It has crashed but only when I have clicked the close Firefox " Red X"

It really does a crazy thing.  If I have VLC open playing a file, or I am in Firefox on YouTube If I change to new tab or click a link my sound on the Desktop crackles and it's like everything comes to a halt in VLC and Firefox. Or just in Firefox on YT.   I am not sure if this is a hardware issue with my speakers I have already moved the speakers plug to front and no change it still does it.  The speakers are old I bought them way back in 2005.  Do speakers go bad?  I don't know why it is doing this. 

My other issue is cleaning my computer. You see Firefox has over 8,000 bookmarks I have collected since around 2006-2008 or even earlier. I don't know how to remove the ones I don't need anymore. I guess it has well over 250-300 folders and loose bookmarks My guess around 1500+ not in folders. Some folders will scroll a few minutes. I want to removed some folders I don't need anymore and want to know if there is a way to store others in case I need them later I can load them and keep some on Firefox? Many of these book marks are related to research I have done and I can't just trash my bookmarks and start over.

Windows 10 Firefox 89

I have noticed since Firefox 89.0.2 that when I press Ctrl-F to search a page it seems to work for a while but eventually stops working resulting in Phrase not found - but I know the phase is on the page.

I think if I restart my system it works sometimes for a while and later quits working but don't know how many times it works before it quits or what happens to make it quit working but it doesn't last long.

I have already done all the clear caches, history etc. and think if I totally restart my system that gets it working again for a while.

If I copy/pate the same URL into Chrome and perform the same search the phrase is found every time without fail.

Since I use the search frequently I don't think it was a problem in versions before 89.0.2 or I would have noticed it.

Does Firefox work with ChromeCast yet? If not, is there any similar alternative add-on for Firefox that can stream video to devices like Roku? I love Firefox but constantly have to switch to Chrome when I want to stream a video to my Roku. Thanks in advance.

I am using the Firefox browser on a 2020 MacBook which is running Big Sur. No webpages will load. I have checked in other broswers (Safari and Chrome) and they work fine.

I'm currently running V. 89 on a Windows-7 machine. The system runs a GE-Force 700 series video card. I just recently added more RAM to my system (currently 4 GB) and the OS is running all the latest W-7 updates. I want to upgrade to the latest FireFox version (112), but am having problems with it. When I go to run V. 112 on YouTube, there is an annoying hesitation whenever a video is running and I go to move the mouse around the page with the video stopping for 1/4 second and then restarting with each mouse movement. I disabled hardware acceleration, but the problem still won't go away. I don't see it on other sites, just YouTube. It's so annoying that I uninstalled V. 112 and re-installed V. 89. Any suggestions? I have two FF profiles. When I open a private window in each profile and go to YouTube, one displays YT in light mode, while the other displays it in dark mode. In both windows, YT is set to ‘Appearance: Device theme’. Both profiles use FF’s ‘Dark’ theme. The same happens when I go to other websites that utilise ’ prefers-color-scheme’ (e.g. https://dashboard.tugboat.qa).

Since these two profiles display websites in different colour schemes on the same computer, it’s clearly not an OS setting. It therefore must be a setting in FF - one that’s enabled in one profile but disabled in the other. I’d like to know what it is.

I’ve tried comparing about:config in both profiles, searching for things like ‘dark’, ‘theme’, ‘color’, etc. But I can find no differences. Can anyone shed some light (pun intended) on this for me?

There are many instances where I click on submit, and a new tab appears with the heading javascript_... Normally I can go back to the previous tab and continue. At times however it looks as if the javascript was never executed. In this case I'm logged into Merrill Lynch and attempting to select an account. I select the account, click submit and a new tab appears with the javascript title. The URL is javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ctl00$ctl01$cphSiteMst$cphNestedPage$cphStage$ctl00$Submit',). I go back to the original page and nothings changed. Other browsers work. Yes, javascript is enabled. I do have some add-ons but none which disable javascript. Any thoughts? regards, Bob

Firefox kept crashing over and over, even in troubleshoot mode (i already checked for malware and dont have any either), so I had to refresh it but now all of my bookmarks are gone. I made sure the bookmark bar is not hidden, and I've gone to manage bookmarks to try to restore them but it just says "unable to process". Are all of my bookmarks just gone forever now? How can I get them back???

When I click of the Settings in Tools I get a screen with PublicFox asking for a password. Some time ago I saved a password with the note of "lock firefox options", but that does not work. How do I unlock Settings?? This is a critical problem.

I've used Firefox as my primary browser for many years. Recently (few days) when I watch videos on Youtube, the video will stall with a circling loading icon for 20-30 seconds. After this the video will resume play but without any sound. Opening a new tab will play videos without problem for a while before they, too, exhibit the symptom. Neither Chrome nor Edge exhibit this symptom.

I have a clean install of Firefox with no extensions.

Things I have tried: I've disabled hardware acceleration. This didn't fix the issue. I have played videos in safe mode. This didn't fix the issue.

Any thoughts?

Chrome and Edge have a feature to save a website as an app so the toolbar isn't there. Firefox shows having this option says to click on 3 dots in toolbar. I do not see 3 dots. Please advise

netflix wont play on this PC since 2 updates ago using FF. have checked browsing and privacy and tracking settings. cleared cache and checked for updates. even uninstalled and reinstalled.

When I click on the Continue to HTTP Site button, the HTTPS:// link is fully invoked.

Something is wrong with Firefox 89.0.2 running on MacOS 10.14.6 on a MacBook 2017 model.
