This weird! when I export my current bookmarks to html to a thumb drive, Firefox exports and old list, not the current list! I can add a bookmark, export the list, the new bookmark shows, but the list is not the current bookmarks. this new list contains bookmarks that I had deleted, and are not in my current bookmarks!

How can I put bookmarks in the toolbar at the top where it used to be? When I bookmark to the toolbar I can omly find them by clicking Bookmarks and clicking on toolbar in the drop down.

This happens far too often, in the course of 9 months or more frequently. What is going on Firefox? v88.0.1 Windows 10

Constant script errors that freeze whatever program I am in, regardless of the option I choose - the popup no longer gives me a WAIT or STOP IT. The box comes up that says DON'T ask me about this again.

I do not want to copy passwords, more than anything, should I create a new profile. I do not want to deal with replacing or losing the file. When I attempted to load two other profiles over the last two days, both times FF crashed. I gave up.

I am NOW in Safe Mode and without errors, and it's hard to know which app is causing the problem.

Is there a new addon that will back up Firefox these days?

Suggestions? Seriously, FF seems to be a whole lot more trouble these days than she is worth.

I am getting a McAfee pop up notification and I have identified the site name and would like to add it to the notifications settings to block it but I cannot figure out how to add a site manually to that list. There are no options on the notification settings to allow for a manual site addition. I am on FireFox version 88.0.1 on Windows 10 Pro.

I have also tried searching to see how to remove what is probably malware and cannot find anything. I do not have any McAfee products on my laptop.

All. The answers to all the issues with security errors like SEC_ERROR_INADEQUATE_KEY_USAGE end up with "contact the web owner". In many cases for me, these web sites are not internet sites but hardware HTTP servers (e.g. like a system's BMC or iLO) and there is no system administrator to contact. The web sites open up fine in Chrome. There has to be other solutions (like setting an exception) to work around these issues. Eddy

I just went to the Washington State Department of Licensing to renew my driver's license. When I ask to "view receipt" it says that my pop-ups are being blocked. How can I get around this? I've been to the "Options" menu and deselected blocking pop-ups.

When trying to update through the firefox settings and about firefox window, it keeps saying that updates are disabled by system administrator and I do not have them turned off.
