it been 5 days facing this problem while watching videos sometimes it work normally the next day then it crashes I tried other sites some works and some no (the media could not be loaded either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported )

Whenever I open Firefox, there are two firefox.exe running the background whenever I open the browser. Whenever I try to close the second one, it crashes all of the tabs that are on the browser, and whenever I reload the tabs, it pops up again.

I've scanned my computer multiple times with multiple anti-viruses, but there was no viruses to be found. I've also disabled the plugins that I thought were the issue, and refreshed Firefox, but it was still there. I restarted my computer, no luck in doing that. Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox didn't even do the trick either.

The double processes sky-rockets my RAM and CPU, and it's starting to get annoying. Please help! I appreciate any cooperation!

I have tried all solutions on this matter none helped, Client is not contactable to make changes to their server for tsl 1........ so how can l fix it so that firefox doesnt block this even for the coming upgrades or whatever triggers this event.

I used to be able to go to a website, click on the drop down arrow and see all the options, but now when I click on it nothing drops down and I have to use my arrow keys to see what is there. I tried this on other browsers and the drop down menu works, just not on firefox. I am running Firefox 50.0.2. How do I fix this?

I would really like to use a version of "Firefox Focus" for Windows 10 and macOS Sierra ! I am sure I'm not the only one, my friends told me they would like to have "Firefox Focus" on their computer. I wanted to know if their is some technical reason you don't do that ?

Can this be fixed? Any ideas?

I have some add-ons installed which keep disappearing from the top toolbar where I want them (next to the search bar). They include Video Download Helper and Self-Destructing Cookies. I entered Customize, and these add-ons are not shown in the "Additional tools and features". They are definitely installed as they show in the Add-ons Manager, but they are not at the top bar -- I have the bottom Add-on Bar Restored, and several of my add-ons do show there, but not those. There is no drop-down arrow indicating that they are actually there but hidden. They are not there. I'm assuming there's some kind of conflict, but I don't know what it could be. I have a spr532 card reader with a test smartcard with Firefox 50.1.0 on Ubuntu 16.04 up to date. I want to use the client certificate from the device to log in on a website that I am developing.

I also have a test certificate that I generated and it is not on the card. I can log in with the test certificate that I have but not with the one on the card. The problem is that in the "User identification request" page I cannot see the certificate from the smartcard. I can see my generated certificate but not the one on the smartcard. Firefox asks me for the pins for the smartcard (I have two certs on the card and they both have PINs). Firefox sees my certs from the smartcard in about:preferences#advanced > View Certificates > Your Certificates column. I have both the certs on the smartcard and the one I generated in that table. But when I try to log in, Firefox only shows me my generated cert and not the one from the smartcard.

What can I do? How can I debug this? This is a dev environment. I can change any configs on the server so I can decrypt the TLS session and see what is going on between my server and the browser.

I began experiencing this problem a few days ago and not sure what's causing it:

In my Windows Task Manager, there are two firefox.exe that appear under Processes (under Applications, Firefox only appears once). I've used End Process to close each of the firefox.exe that appear and the result has been peculiar. Depending on which one I End, either the window closes entirely along with all the tabs or the tab that is currently open crashes and I get the message: "Bad news first: This tab has crashed."

I've scanned my computer with AVG for viruses and everything came back clean. I also scanned it with ESET for malware and nothing was found.

Any idea what I can do to resolve this? Any help would be appreciated.

when will Firefox add an extension to be able to view Instagram Stories?? Chrome has it and has had it for quite some time. It seems Firefox is falling behind in some areas which is disappointing.

i restored my windows by mistake last night and then realized i lost all my passes when i had to download ff again, then i searched on the old windows folder and found the needed key3.db and logins archives there, i tried to open key3.db and all my logins are there but they're encrypted. THe problem is i've already transfered them to the new profile folder but my passwords are still empty -already tried deleting the profile and creating a new one What else i can do?

Standard view in gmail worked until a few weeks ago. I cleared all the history (cache, cookies, etc.), turned off the computer, then restarted it, but I can still access gmail only in HTML. Standard view works in Internet Explorer and Opera. Strangely enough, I have two computers, and they BOTH have the standard view problem in Firefox. Can this be fixed (easily...for a non-tech person)? Thank you.

because I clear my history regularly the password manager (which I never use) pops up every time I sign into an account, even though I say "Never remember for this". I do not want this to keep happening as it often interferes with my logins. is there any way I can disable this function please.

We need someone from Firefox programming team to give up the option to obliterate "Other Bookmarks" a.k.a. "Unsorted Bookmarks" to Kingdom Come, without any Add-On. We have been living with this utterly useless folder for months on end and now it is turning into years, time to trash this useless and idiotic folder for good. Please don't advise of any add-on, my Firefox and Windows can't handle one more add-on, we need a simple forward solution, like Delete and it is deleted or changing a setting in the about:config and it is done.

I have firefox 50, I am aware that most of the website I visit can deliver videos with html5 (and that flash is used only if it is installed, this is 100% correct in the mobile world) so I would like to have firefox using html5 by default instead of flash (that I would like to remove asap). Thanks,
