Hello, I would like to use the search function in the tab again. How can I adjust this? At the moment it is so that when you enter it it appears right above in the link line (see picture). I would like it to be in the search below, directly in the tab. Before version 88 this was possible. Why was it removed?

Zur Zeit ist es so, daß bei einer Eingabe es gleich oben in der Linkzeile erscheint (siehe Bild) Dabei möchte ich es unten in der Suche, direkt im Tab haben. Vor Version 88 war das möglich. Warum wurde es entfernt?

Hey guys, just wondering if there's a toolbar workflow similar to Chrome and Edge where we can jump between profiles. I believe there is `about:profiles` though that requires a bookmark and a few additional clicks to jump between profiles.

Perhaps the profile icon on the toolbar can have an item that shows all available profiles?

My Firefox can't play any video on any websites. Youtube video keeps on buffering forever and I can't click on the play button. But preview images still shows up when I hover the mouse over video bar. This happened after I updated to latest FF version

I've tried every solutions provided by Mozilla Support: clear caches, disable extensions, uncheck hardware acceleration,.... you name it I've tried it all. Other browsers are just fine, but since FF is my main browser for work I don't want to switch to another one just for music or video.

Before the update, my bookmarks toolbox was permanently open on the left side of the screen. That was a perfect setup for me, as I use a lot of bookmarklets for time saving on sites I'm on frequently. Since the update, all I have at the top of the screen is Import bookmarks and Most Visited (top left) and Other Bookmarks (top right). I can open Other Bookmarks, and my bookmarklets are there, but clicking one closes the Other Bookmarks folder each and every time. This renders them useless for my purpose. Is there a way to reopen, and KEEP open, my toolbox? I've tried clicking the Keep Open option and selecting done, but that doesn't do what I'm wanting it to do.

One of the beauties of firefox has long been that I could use the backspace bar instead of the back button to return to the previous page when browsing. Somewhere in the last updates this wonderful functionality was lost. Is there anyway I can restore this? I'm suffering from Parkinson's Disease which oftentimes makes controlling my mouse nearly impossible.

I'm on Firefox Developer Edition 90.0b12 on Windows 10. There is no option to sync addresses in the sync settings, while the option is there for Firefox Beta 90.0b12.

I changed my Windows 10 default font to something other than Segoe UI because I very much dislike Segoe UI. My doing so also changed the default font in Firefox 88, which is what I wanted. When I updated to Firefox 89, the browser no longer used my Windows 10 default font. That disappointed me a great deal because I did not like the font that Firefox 89 used. When Firefox 89.01 was released, that fixed the problem, and the browser used my Windows 10 default font, which again, is what I wanted.

I have now updated to Firefox 90, and it is not using my Windows 10 default font. Instead, it is using the ugly font that Firefox 89 used. In the Firefox 89.01 Release Notes, it says one of the issues that got fixed was "Fix various font related regressions (bug 1694174)" I am not sure if that is the "fix" that allowed Firefox 89.01 to use my Windows 10 default font, but I do know that after that fix, Firefox used my preferred font.

At bottom, Firefox 90 is not using my preferred font, which is the same problem Firefox 89 had and that Firefox 89.01 corrected. Please fix Firefox 90 so I am not stuck with the ugly font that it uses.

I am probably not tech savvy enough to adequately explain my problem.

My desktop has the latest version of Firefox and suddenly I can no longer log into my email from the AT&T homepage. When I attempt to log into my mail account I can select my user name and PW but when I press enter all that is displayed is a broken spinning blue circle that never stops and I cannot access my e-mail. Pretty sure there is a preference setting in privacy & security that I screwed up somehow.

Have disabled all add on's and security software but still get same result.

Is there a way to reset Firefox to the original install defaults without doing a complete Firefox removal and starting over from scratch? I have Chrome on my machine and email works fine. So am pretty sure I did something in settings that is causing my problem.

And I have tried what others have suggested. I tried the keyword thing and changed it to false. It won't let me delete all the other search sites. Should I go back to using chrome again?

I'm having a weird issue with Firefox today. When I open a tab it seems to open windows tabs even though everything is containing in a single firefox window.

A simple restart didn't fix it & when I have many tabs open it quickly becomes sensory overload.

Hello how are you? I'm seriously considering switching to Firefox Browser to have more control over my privacy. However, the university makes use of Google Meet and the background is only enabled for Google Chrome and Chromium bases. So, I would like to know if there is how (modification in config, extension) to enable the functions. Thanks!

FBI's suggestion was to start with an IC3 Complaint. I forgot to tell you. They tried to erased the almost 100GB of evidence I have including the 18GB of devastating evidence against them. Well they infected 3 hardware devices I own hoping that I would insert the flash drives with the evidence in the computer and then they can wipe them clean. I lost 75GB but recovered 52GB from a back up scheme I had. Most important: Now I have them in the act of setting up their trap in my computer, plus I have 3 hardware devices infected with their code. One is a USB type A to USB type C adapter by Belkin. they know the whole thing. I spoke to their security all the way to their corporate offices. As you know they're also a defense contractor. The 2nd device is a 3.3 USB reader by SanDisk (Western Digital). I started telling them until they blocked me. So they only know their device was modify to do evil. But I didn't have time to tell them that 2 additional devices suffered the same thing. So, SanDisk thinks they are the only company. The 3rd device is from Kingston it's 3.0 USB card reader but but the time I finished with SanDisk I couldn't communicate with Kingston. Unless the security force from Belkin told them, they are unaware that their device was used for nefarious purposes by MS and GGL (But attempt to abbreviate.) Bottom line I have the dramatic footage of 18GB and 3 hardware devices. of their code. I hope these info gets to you. I have to take a tiny break. When I go to a new tab with something I'm looking for, web surfing, I guess. I'm always ask to "allow" the page to show. most of the time it's pages I often use or go to. How can I avoid or fix this?

If you ask me to search the forums, I get lost and it takes me hours. Asking is better.

Update installed taking Firefox to V90.0, and the colors of the bookmarked sites changed from blue to red, as well the downloads changed from blue to red. Not a big deal but I find the red a bit too bright. How do I change these back to blue? Thank you.
