So Firefox suddenly and without asking just changed its look into something absolutely... No words can describe level of my disgust, so I wont fill this post by angry ranting.

Is there a way to get the old look back? (preferably without any downloads needed, cos at remote desktops that is not always an option)

Please, don't force me to use Chrome. I hate that browser, but they at least had decency to create skin, which makes it look like Firefox. The normal one, not the new diarrhea all over the screen one.

Hallo, nach Programmupdate auf 89.0 sind die Menüeinträge sehr auseinandergezogen. Dadurch ist das Lesezeichenmenü fast nicht mehr brauchbar. Wie kann die alte Oberfläche wieder hergestellt werden?

I just updated Firefox to the newest version. I'm a little miffed though that I can't seem to get rid of the "overflow menu" or otherwise hide it. I like a VERY minimalist setup to maximize web page view. On previous versions you could remove all add-ons/menu buttons and the extra space or "overflow menu would disappear. Now that doesn't seem to be the case. So now I have this annoying blank space I don't need. Otherwise I love the look of the new update. Just this is a bit confounding.

I do like the ability to customize web pages using usercontent.css. I wonder whether this capability still exists in FF 89. I may become a crotchety old guy and stay on 88 if that feature has gone away.

I upgraded my FireFox to the latest version 88.0 today, and noticed some changes on right click menu. In the old version, the keyboard shortcut key is a to copy a link, but now it was changed to L. That is really inconvenient. As you know, when you right click a link using the mouse, your right hand is still holding the mouse, and not easy to press the letter L on the keyboard.

The old menu option is "Copy Link Locaton", but the new one is "Copy Link".

Is it possible to customize the keyboard shortcut of right click menu, please?

Hello , after recent update, when u are trying to search for sth in search tab (home page - middle of screen), my text automatically goes to top side (where u can type websites). Is there any way to set it back as before? Just to type stuff i want find on search tab on mid and websites on top only? thx

I just upgraded to the new release. There used to be a button with three dots toward the right side of the search/address bar. I used it to email a link to the current page. Two clicks and I'm editing the email. I don't see the button in this new release. How do I email a link to the current page? Ideally in one or two clicks.

How to get back single-line page spines? The Firefox 87.0 or 88.0 have single-line page spines. The firefox 89.0 have double-line and double-height page spines. How decrese spines height back?

My question is: When you open a new tab in your browser there is something call web search. Is it possible that everything that I input in there can be shown in that little box below the Firefox logo. Instead of getting display on top of the website box.

The actual new colour of the display (meunuebar, settingbar, taps ...) after updating is a horrible bluegrey ... I want to change that but find no way.... please, if possible answer in german. Thanks in advance. Udo

When I start to write search field in firefox (win10) start page, firefox stoles focus and move it to address bar. And this dont work because searching in address bar is strictly forbidden in all my systems and stays so.

How to prevent this focus steal and forces firefox start page to keep focus in search field? Another browser?

In the current version (89.0) the shortcuts for the context menu are not working anymore (i.e. right click + L for "Copy Link"). I had to downgrade to 88.0.1 to make it work again. Is there any possibility to get those shortcuts back in the actual version?

kann die lesezeichenleiste nicht mehr im linken fenster abspeichern win wahr mal optimal dauernd nur probleme ab xp neue rscheinungen......... dazu nur englisch nicht zum verstehen !

I know this is an obscure question but it would save time typing it all in each time.

I would like to create a windows shortcut to launch the profile manager like so:

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe -profilemanager" - but it says "the name specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the filename and path are correct." It works fine without the -profilemanager part.

Maybe it would have to be a batch file I'm not sure.

Hi since I updated Firefox last night, I can't seem to use the search bar anymore, I'm talking about the usual one, the search bar in the middle of the page under the Firefox globe. As soon as I type the first letter in this search bar, it writes into the adress bar, and nothing is displayed in the search bar at all, it stays empty. It's like the only option I have now is the adress bar, the search bar is useless and though it's ok for an adress it is not for a proper research. I wonder how to sort this out. Thanks for your help !

In Settings I've set new tabs to open as a blank page. I would have thought this would also apply to New Windows but when I open a new window it goes to my set Home Page. Is this right?
