I've noticed in the last week or two that when I'm on my desktop and try to navigate to an Instagram profile, that 9 out of 10 times I get the error in the screenshot attached:

"Sorry, this page isn't available."

Weirdly, if I have a link to a specific instagram post, the browser will load it. But profile page? Forget about it. Anyone else having this issue, and know perhaps why Firefox is loading Instagram this way on a desktop?

New Firefox version 112.0 turn my browsing to hell. It logs off me from all sites when I switch off my computer and after I come back online read cookies wrong.

How can I roll back to the previous version?

DIRECTLY after 114.0.1 update, I get a CONSTANT UNENDING PROMPT telling me all about firefox , ON EACH AND EVERY SEARCH, I am here to find out how to remove this intentionally annoying, "thing" from MY PC(of course Mozilla couldn't be bothered to tell us they were installing a continuous advertisement for google, and FORCE installing it as search engine). I want this endless advertisement removed, post haste.

Add address in search bar I get "ERROR OCCURRED" It seems something on my end is blocking this ip. Cannot ping from pc or router. I have downloaded Firefox 113.0.1 for Windows x64 but the file seems to be corrupt. When I check the installation file with 7Zip Test Archive appeared a Warning Message due to a Checksum error. All others versions of Firefox downloaded can be checked correctly by 7Zip, but this installation file show an error message that I never have received. Is there a problem with the file? Thanks

Has update to Firefox 115.1.0esr (64-bit) broken things for other users as well? The update applied itself about 20 minutes ago, and then I tried to log in to my Hostinger account. Instead of the two-factor authentication kicking in as normal, I got a message about a Captcha check failed - even though there is no captcha.

So I went to google, typed in my search term, hit return, and instead of google going searching, I got a new line in the search box!

Google Chrome browser (which I hate) is still working fine. So is someone going to fix this? (I seem to get daily messages from Firefox about a new update available), so hopefully....

Sorry about the confrontational tone - I'm from an era when software was tested before it was released, not released and then fixed daily! And that was a bitchy remark too!

The "shield" icon for turning off tracking protection cannot be turned off completely. It seems you have to do this for every single website. This feature (curse) makes almost all websites non-functional. How do I turn this off completely? If I cannot eliminate this I will change to another browser.

I have been a user of FireFox for over 20 years. This morning when it updated, I got the message that this is the last update I'll receive as support for Windows 7 has ceased.

There is nothing wrong with my laptop, it works 100%, fulfills all my needs, yet you seem to want me to toss it in the bin and buy something I do NOT want! I have no interest in obtaining a new OS, I have used windows since 3.1, enough is enough. I have no desire to 'learn' another OS, the one I have is just perfect for me.

How 'green' is it making something that works perfectly, obsolete, just because it is a mature OS?

Not all of us need a cutting edge, super dooper hyper bells & website system. I'm quite happy using FireFox to access the odd email, do a bit of general surfing, and a bit of online shopping.

Why is it so difficult to keep FireFox in use for Windows 7?

When I installed FF on this laptop, I imported successfully my bookmarks, but for some reason for one particular (large) folder, its bookmarks "Description" field was not imported.

I have both the HTML and the json backup bookmarks files. With the HTML file I can copy and paste individual bookmarks and descriptions, but I have probably over 1,000 bookmarks in this folder.

Since Firefox installed the most recent update May 9th, update 113.0 (20230504192738), whenever I play a video full screen from any websites including YouTube, news sites, basically anything streaming a video, the video itself is not 100% full screen as it was prior to the update yesterday. The video expands to the top of the screen, but the two side and lower borders do not expand fully and the website underneath can be seen on these sides. I attached a random YouTube video screenshot and a news channel video with dark borders to show what is happening. Again this is on all websites with video and full-screen options, not just YouTube, and this was not happening prior to the recent update 113.0 being installed last night on my computer. I've tried the previous fixes like clearing the cache, etc., and it seems to be a bug in the recent update since this did not happen prior to last night's update installation. I played the same videos in the Chrome browser and the issues are NOT present, and the videos expand to cover the entire screen as normal. Does anyone have a fix or can a fix be requested? It seems like no matter what I do, I can't get Firefox to download files from Google Drive. It loads for a moment, then it says "The page isn’t redirecting properly". I have confirmed that it's only Firefox because I can download files from Google Drive with Google Chrome. I have disabled Enhanced Tracking Protection, selecting the Standard Enhanced Tracking Protection Setting, and even refreshing Firefox. Though, I noticed that it only works on incognito mode for whatever reason.
