Is there a security setting that allows me to show all my passwords rather than having to toggle them on each time?

I am a recluse. There's never anyone looking over my shoulder. I just don't want to have to mess with it anymore.

If there isn't, could some kind developer please make an add-on?

I am using two computers: an iMac (late 2009) running 10.13.6 (High Sierra) and a Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2012) running 10.15.7 (Catalina).

Never used a webcam before, but i did that... the site is there, it says allow... i'm on the website now, says webcam not found... am i forgetting something? do i even have one? i'm at the library...

I am a developer on an emergency intervention hotline for sexual assault.

Firefox is now throwing up psuedo-modal advertisements for it's VPN above pages. See attached screenshot for example.

It is absolutely IMPERATIVE that our visitors do not receive these new modal advertisements that Firefox is throwing at them. What can I do to prevent Firefox's new browser-hijacking advertisements from showing up on our hotline pages?


I experienced this on Twitter, and it 100% was not part of the dom. It also greyed out the tab bar, and prevented me from opening the menu with alt. I know how to make it not show up anymore on my machine, but how can I prevent it from appearing on visitors to my website, who are in some of the most vulnerable times of their life.

Amazon keep telling me my payment was declined , when i havent shopped with them recently . couldnt cancel ..... so i completley took all payment cards out and left ... Apparantly affects google accounts aswell .... but overall its totally had me going round in circles ? So hope someone can help ...... i thought the new firefox update may have some fix ? There dont seem to be any help ? Im at the point of re-installing Windows ... Cheers to any one who can help

This problem is - I can't unblock popups. I have got popup blocking enabled, with a couple of Exceptions - it's been working fine until I wanted to use it today. I have tried turning off popup blocking, re-entering the exceptions - nothing is helping!!!

Does anyone know what to do?

New issue, but only on Firefox: I cannot access parts of my TMobile account. The message reads "restricted access" and the page is blank. This is happening only on Firefox, and unfortunately, your many articles your users have to sift through, with no actual staff support is really time consuming and and discouraging, as I have spent the past 2 hours trying to resolve this issue, which was never an issue before. Clearly Chrome is easier to use, and your enhanced tracking is not a good program if you can't use your own accounts.

Thanks for any advice that works. Otherwise, I've tried all Firefox's other options and they do not work.

I have been trying for a while now to set up a proxy on my own and have Firefox connect to it. Since there are a few options on how this can be accomplished in theory, the only way I way able to get it working was by using an Http Proxy. I looked at the connections Firefox is initiating towards the proxy using Wireshark. I was shocked to say the least. When trying to use an HTTPS Proxy, Firefox doesn't encrypt the connection to the proxy at all. So the domain I'm trying to connect to and the Credentials I use to log into the proxy are visible in cleartext. That is an absolute No-Go! Is there a way I can configure Firefox to encrypt the connection between itself and the proxy? If not, are there any plans on implementing this kind of functionality?

Malwarebytes & Privacy Badger appear not to be working, though shown as 'enabled' in 'Extensions'. No blocked content is indicated. Adverts appear on lse.co.uk which can cause all four CPU's on Intel i5 to hit hi 90%. This problem appears to have started in this release.

Have disabled Privacy Badger and installed Adblocker Ultimate. This seems to have cleared the problem and Malwarebytes Browser Guard is now reporting results. Can't see how to mark problem as fixed??

A further observation which may be related to this problem. Response time seems very sluggish on FF 112.0.1

I have re-enabled both Privacy Badger & MalwareBytes and disabled Adblocker Ultimate. Both appear to be functioning now.

I have noticed that the WebExtensions process can consume as much and sometimes double the CPU & memory resource as that needed for the Firefox process. Is this to be expected? Do I need these extra security features, or are they built-in to the browser anyway?

I like the feature where if I saved the password, Firefox automatically puts them in for me, but for some unknown reason, the settings keep reverting back and removing this option. It does not save my preferences so if I restart my computer, I have to change the settings again which is getting frustrating. Is there anything I can do to make this option permanent? I'm trying to configure equipment on my local network. Some of the equipment does NOT support https. Firefox continuously changes the address http://192.168.xxx.xxx to https://192.168.xxx.xxx, and the connection fails!

I have tried the various options in HTTP Only Mode, including entering Exceptions. I have also temporarily changed network.trr.mode from 5 to 1 (and 0), but nothing is working!

What can I do?
