This site will not display in HTMl. All other URLs that I go to work. It also works with I.E. and on another computer on the same router.

It acts like popups are being blocked but there is no menu bar to over ride that operation.

I have done that in the past, but I am going to clean out everything and start clean.

You can try to reset (power off/on) the router.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I have superantispyware, adaware, and MS firewall all turned off. As I said, the page shows correctly with I.E. the other two machines on the router work OK,

I tried looking at this page awhile ago with I.E. and it blocked the HTM, said the certificate was out of date. I.E. allowed me to bypass it, but firefox has not given me that option. I have seen it on one of our other machines where we could allow popups but I do not see it on this machine. I suspect it is in the config file. I parsed the config file but could not see any thing that looked like it related to that page.

Is there a Firefox programmer who might have some idea what to look for?

It started working again. I was having a problem with MS Word, the print was a second or two behind the key, so I reinstalled the drivers. This is a seven year old HP Pavilion zd7000 that I reformatted and installed XP pro. It came with the HP home version that was getting corrupted, so I cleaned it out but I still have to use the drivers for the HP chipset. My next laptop will be an Asus. Our desktops are do it yourself machines and the motherboards come with driver installation CDs. I do not normally take out a warranty on something like this but I did and it has been in the shop five times for major repairs. It was a good buy at the time but I will not buy another HP machine.

I do not know why reinstalling the drivers would fix this problem but it seems that it did???

Thanks all for your help.
