Click the orange Firefox button, go to Add-ons and then Extensions. Click Remove where you see "Yahoo Toolbar".

When I selected anything using the Firefox browser with Yahoo enabled, I was getting a process indicator only when I moved my cursor around, like it was going to sleep and not processing anything. After I used the disable the browser is working great again. I switched to Firefox years ago because it was so much faster than IE. Why is Mozilla adding bells & whistles that slow down processing. Thank you for the post on how to remove Yahoo!
