My wife and I use the same computer and we both have used Firefox and Thunderbird for quite a while. We have our own computer user accounts with Windows 7. Lately I have moved to a different browser and and no longer use Thunderbird. When I remove/delete the Thunderbird and Firefox icons/shortcuts on my desktop they also disappear from my wife's desktop. Why is this and how can I solve the problem.
