Cant Empty Trash

In my Thunderbird client on my tablet (Android), phone (Android), and laptop (Windows 11) over the last week, it has stopped emptying the Trash folder by clicking "Empty". Also, across these platforms the Trash folder will no remain synced, while it appears other system folders remain synced.

As I have not made any client setting changes (prior to troubleshooting this issue), I must assume a recent background change/app update has occured.

Please advise.

Gekozen oplossing

There's a bug in v21 that stops the empty trash and spam option working. The issue is already fixed in code and made available in Beta v22.0b2 for testing. https://github.com/thunderbird/thunderbird-android/releases/tag/THUNDERBIRD_22_0b2

It'll make it's way to to app stores in due course.
