I would like to download and install the older version of Firefox. This I believe that version is 93 for Mac OS.

Version 102 to is just released (28 June 2022). I do not want to install this new version until it was proven over the next few months.

Please advise how to get the Version 93

See Install an older version of Firefox ... but Firefox 91esr is a better choice since Extended Support Releases have the latest security updates.

The latest Firefox 91esr version 91.11.0 can be currently downloaded from this page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-esr

... or from this direct link for macOS (English-US): https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/91.11.0esr/mac/en-US/Firefox%2091.11.0esr.dmg

Note that Firefox 91esr will no longer be supported and will be updated to Firefox 102esr in the near future. According to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/102.0/releasenotes/ (quote) Firefox 102 is the new Extended Support Release (ESR). Firefox 91 ESR goes out of support on September 20, 2022. (See the 102 ESR release notes for more information)

I followed the second link in your reply - ..../#product-desktop-esr

That showed up two 'esr' products: 91.11.0esr and 102.0esr. For the time being, I downloaded both.

Would you be able to tell me when 102.0esr was released (is it different to 28 June 2022 for 102.0?).

Can I consider 102.0esr as a stable /mature product?

Should I install 91.11.0esr now and wait for the 102.0esr installation until September 20, 2022?

Firefox 102esr was released June 28, 2022... which is also when the standard 102 was released but 102esr is on the Extended Support Release channel. Both are stable/mature products and include the same features but esr versions only have security and stability updates, with new features only added with major releases, such as from 91esr to 102esr. The standard releases (also called "rapid releases") such as Firefox 99, 100 and 102, have major updates with new features every four weeks on average. See https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar, the Choosing a Firefox update channel article and https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox#firefox_channels to learn more.

If you're not sure what to do I would just download the standard 102 version. For installation help, see How to download and install Firefox on Mac. (I'm assuming this is a new installation. If you already have Firefox installed, simply update to the latest version. See Update Firefox to the latest release.)

A warning: If you "downgrade" to an earlier Firefox version, such as from Firefox 102 to Firefox 91, you will have to create a new profile with "default" settings. This is explained in the Install an older version of Firefox article.
