Plus (+) Key not working as shortcut

Hi,

I have noticed that if I want to use the +key (plus key) as a shortcut, the following commands don't work:

I'm using the latest Firefox version (91.5.0esr/64-bit) on a MacBook Pro 2021 14" (Mac OS 12.1) on a German keyboard. The German part is important, because if I switch my system language to English and correctly guess where the +key would be positioned, the commands work.

Most importantly, this only happens on Firefox. If I use the same commands on Safari, or Google Chrome, it works perfectly fine. So this must be a Firefox issue.

I would really appreciate it if there was a solution for this. I know this has been an issue for a longer time because I had the same problem on my last MacBook Pro (13", 2011, High Sierra).

Last but not least Firefox is great, and it is by far my favorite browser. So if there is any solution for this I would be most grateful (and if the solution somehow could be automatically included in all future Firefox updates even better!)

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards, M

PS: I apologize if this was worded awkwardly. English is not my first language.
