Firefox updated on MAC removed my bookmarks from account
I've updated my firefox browser on Macbook, and now I don't have my bookmarks on my account. Does anyone now if I can get them back ?

To find if your bookmarks are in another location: 1. Go to ☰->Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks. Or use hotkey Ctrl+Shift+O. 2. Check under Bookmarks Menu and Other Bookmarks to see if your bookmarks are there. 3. You can drag these folders to your Bookmarks Bar folder to see them.
To find if any bookmarks are still recoverable: 1. Type in about:support in the address bar and select Open Folder under Profile Folder (not Update Folder!). 2. There should be a folder named bookmarksbackups. Open it and find the file modified the most recently. 3. Use a Firefox bookmarks extractor like https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/bookbackreader.html to extract to an HTML file. 4. Open the HTML file in a web browser and check if your bookmarks are there. If so, then you can re-import them. Otherwise, try Step 3 again with a the next most recent file in Step 2. 5. Note that the folders may be in a different location now. If so, Follow the "To find if your bookmarks are in another location:" at the beginning of this post.
