I had lots of bookmarks before I was auto updated to 73.0.1.

Hello.

What do you mean by "different format" ? Do you have an backup (export) of your bookmarks ?

Do you have a JSON backup or an HTML backup ?

A JSON backup is one long line without line breaks and you need to restore such a backup. Restoring a JSON backup will replace all current bookmarks, so you lose bookmarks newer than the bookmarks in this backup.
