Good day. I know some people have had a similar challenge recently. And it appears they identified two video download tools. The only download tool I have is VideoDownloadHelper, which I gathered has had a long-standing respectability among FF users. Might there be some other option to remove this misdirect activity? I've run malware software and an MS virus scan. However, both suggest there are no little nasties hanging about at present. Many thanks!

Try running Firefox in Safe Mode. If the issue isn't present in Safe Mode, it's likely the add-on that's causing it.

Thanks Wesley! I'm sure you'll be richly rewarded in Heaven for that....just probably not by the scammers!

Many thanks!
