Tabs shifted left after restore

After using the restore keyboard command for an unrelated issue the tabs in my browser appear to have shifted left roughly the size of a pinned tab, pictured below.

I couldn't find any information on this issue besides a bunch of information about moving tabs around with hotkeys so anything would be greatly appreciated

Note that you can enable and disable this drag space via the Customize palette page that has a checkbox on the bottom bar.

Do you mean Restore as in changing from a maximized window to a resizable window?

When you are using a resizable window, and the tabs are in the title bar -- meaning neither the Menu Bar nor the Title Bar is displayed at the top -- Firefox provides some "drag space" on the end of the tabs bar to facilitate moving the window.
