How can I make add-ons visible in the browser? I now only see the general icon and can't start individual addons
I have several add-ons installed and I want to be able to start them up (of course). In the toolbar I added the add-ons icon, but when i click that it only gives me a list of installed add-ons. For instance it says that Enpass add-on is installed, but I can't see the add-on itself in teh toolbar and therefore can't start it up. I have tried everything i can think of, but nothing works. Please help!

Second; It’s possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.
Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder
Linux: Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Directory. To its right press the button Open Directory.
Delete all extensions* files and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.
After, restart Firefox.

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar.
Note: about:customizing is no longer present in Firefox 47+ releases.
- Press Alt or F10 to bring up the toolbar.
Then View > Toolbars > Customize. - Right-click on a blank spot in the toolbar and
select Customize.
In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but; some icons are locked in place.
There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.
Thx for the reply Fred. The thing is though that when I get to the customize window there are no icons present for the installed add-ons. The only thing there is a general add-on icon. I have attached that to the toolbar. When I click on that icon it shows me a list of installed extensions, but I cannot attach the seperate extensions to the toolbar. And from the list itself I cannot start any of the extensions. This is particularly problematic with the Enpass extension. If I can't start that I can't autofill my username/password for any of my logins that are stored within Enpass. Other extensions such as adblock just work by default, but this one doesn't. So unfortunately I still seem to be stuck. Any other ideas?
First; Type about:support in the address bar and press Enter. Under the main banner, press the button; Copy Text To Clipboard.. Now in the Reply Box on the forum page, do a right-click in the box and select Paste.

Thx once again Fred. The problem has been fixed!
I have followed your steps to completely delete every trace of the extensions. After that I reset the browser to the default settings to make sure none of my tweaking could cause any residual problems. I then installed the desired add-ons again and low and behold they appeared where I wanted (and expected) them to be.
