forgot passwaord and I am not getting reset email
My password isn't working. Tried to get reset email twice it didn't come through.

I keep saying... passwords are the bane of the internet... ;-)
To help you out one would need to know what kind of password (for what purpose) this might be, for which site etc. . Of course, many people will be confused how to answer this, including a lot of administrators and programmers themselves, since those password prompts often are not explanatory at all.
Like, I mean, what does this tell you? next to nothing! pw

I am trying to enter Firefox, 98rnorris@gmail.com, password xxxxxxxxx. I need to change my password because they sent me a email stating I may have been compromised .

I am sorry having misstated my reply.
I did not mean to ask for the actual password and it ALWAYS unwise to give away a password and indeed hardly ever necessary. Please reedit your post and do not mention your real password.
But you did give the needed info for what purpose the passwd is:
it is your e-mail-password used for gmail. That is what one needs to know.
From here on I see 2 possibilities:
- it is a legitimate request for pw renewal, though bothersome that really is
- it it not legit, but a hoax or a phishing attempt , so called.
could it be a fraudulous hoax or phishing business be ongoing?
Assuming it is really gmail asking to change the password, I have to say the following:
Many Big Data corporations including MS/Github, Google and Yahoo enforce real horrible password policies from a user's perspective.
That is also why I never use those if I can avoid them by any means. But that is also why I am not familiar with google password reset procedures, all I know is that they are tremendous pain and often fail for one reason or another. Many people have lost their accounts this way. That is the TRUE price, Big Data exacts for their "free" services. Maybe a google fanboi can help with this! Good luck, mate! Godspeed!
