How do I save the scale % when printing

more options

Am printing @ 31%. When I change the scale % to 100% it does not save the correction when I go back to check it.

Hi Caminopete, you can change the scale using either the broken control on the toolbar OR the Page Setup dialog. Firefox should save the change. However, the only way to confirm that Firefox saved the change and is using it the next time you call up Print Preview is to check the Page Setup dialog.

Hi Caminopete, what OS are you running on the affected system? Your post is in the Android category, your browser said you posted from an iPhone, and this scaling problem affects desktop versions like Windows, Mac and Linux.

The scale drop-down on the Print Preview toolbar is broken in Firefox 63 on desktop; it does not show the correct current scale. The problem will be fixed in Firefox 64 (mid-December), possibly earlier but no guarantees.

For now, this is what I can say about the information on that bar:

(A) If the bar says "Shrink to Fit [30%]" you can ignore the 30%; Firefox is set to Shrink to Fit

(B) If the bar says "Scale [30%]" you need to check the Page Setup dialog to see the current scale

An interim 63.0.1 update should be out soon with a fix for this:
