No major web browsers is still supporting the old EOL Windows XP and Vista and also the EOL Mac 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 anymore.

The browser they are using is custom and it is a paid to Microsoft for support and security. It is nothing that the general public have access to nor able to pay for the supported updates.

52.9.0esr is the last browser available for XP/Vista https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/ You will need to pick which 32 or 64 and then language.

Thank you for the quick reply :) So: going to your link, I see 2 possible for Windows64 (below) However, neither one of the Windows 64 links: "Dir win64/" nor "File firefox-52.9.0esr.win64.sdk.zip 228M 25-Jun-2018 08:55" goes anywhere. Both end at folders with "0" data. Please advise.

Since we now know from your post: - Microsoft indeed does still support XP - Therefore, XP is NOT "impossible to maintain security / support," but in truth: - Support now has a paid subscription - Microsoft is choosing not to make this Support available to the public

It would be interesting to start a Class Action lawsuit, maintaining: - Microsoft chooses not to provide this Support option to the public, but is trying to force XP users to spend money for a system upgrade.

Apple just had the pants sued off them for a similar claim.

Please advise :)

Sorry, XP is was a long time lost it's support and went EOL. I was already years into Windows 7 at that time which was a much better system. Now been using 10 so long that it is nothing to beat it into submission.

This support that is available is millions of dollars for a company or a Gov. It is bulk buying which as a individual your not invited to the party. So please stay on topic as law suits have nothing to do with Firefox Support Volunteers.

The Windows version of Firefox are in the win32 and win64 folders.

The 64-bit or Win64 Firefox requires 64-bit Windows, 7, 8 (8.1), 10 to run.

Windows XP and Vista users need the 32-bit version even if they have a 64-bit version of those OS's.

You appear to have 32-bit Windows XP based on your useragent (in More System Details) to post this thread.

Windows XP have been made EOL by Microsoft for regular desktop users since April 2014. Besides a emergency critical security patch last year they have not been supported since.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/end-support-windows-xp-and-vista

It has been almost 2 1/2 years since Chromium, Chrome, Opera dropped support of Windows XP and Vista back in April 2016.
