Tabs fail to load the correct page when loading firefox's history since 57 (Quantum)

Ever since the update for Firefox 57 (Quantum), the reloading of history once you reload firefox has been bugged. I have in my "General" preferences, "When Firefox starts" set to "Show your windows and tabs from last time". What should load are the exact web pages on the tabs that were on at the time Firefox was closed, as versions before this one did. Upon loading Firefox however, it at least remembers the number of tabs loaded, but the web page is very often incorrect being set to websites much earlier in my browsing history with that tab. It's common to find a tab always loading the same web page between sessions, regardless of which web page I've finish the session on.

(It's not situational. Clearing browsing history or resetting the tab history does not help)
