I just updated Firefox and ended up with Quantum. How in the world can I get my previous version back, and get rid of Quantum? I have never been so disappointed in Firefox as I am right now. I never, ever would have clicked update if I knew I would end up with this.

If you still want to downgrade, look under; I still want to downgrade. Click the Directory of other versions and languages link. Look for the directory of the version that you want. But, remember that old versions may have security issues.

Read the release notes next time and don't go updating blindly.

Note from admin: I removed language not in compliance with the Forum Rules and Guidelines.

Wow, you don't have to be so rude with your reply. The update looked the same as all the small updates have. Everyone doesn't automatically understand things like release notes when a small update window pops up >.>

Thank you, Fred. I got my previous version back ^^

I just downgraded to an earlier version - instantly web pages load immediately, no need to wait seconds for them to do so. I'd suggest Firefox throw the latest version out and start again. The delay is so bad in loading I'd rather take the security risk than update to the Quantum laggard version. I know many people that have switched to Chrome or Opera just to get away from the browsing issues with Firefox. I'll give it a few weeks and if Firefox isn't fixed I'll be moving to another browser permanently. I am not sure who "Moses" is - says he is a Top 25 Contributor and a "moderator". If that is true then he needs to be sacked as a Moderator and his account cancelled for such a rude, pig-ignorant comment like that. Note to Firefox Development Team - your Quantum update is absolute rubbish and you are ruining the name of Firefox with it !

I agree. For me the change to the add-ons makes Firefox tedious, instead of the joy that it was. With such a huge change there should have been huge warning to read the Notes carefully, days before the update was actually introduced and ready to download.

As for Moses, Thanks a lot for making a terrible situation even worse.
