Had a hard time opening a previous session through sessionstore-backups.

I opened a website on a new tab and a window popped up that said something like danger (not the first time so I know I need to block it) and I couldn't close the window so I had to manually 'end task' which closed both windows. After I scanned my computer to make sure there wasn't any viruses, I opened mozilla window. It had that tab that had the previous session that I had to forcefully close. It showed 2 windows (one that I have been using with several tabs and the 2nd one that I wanted to close but couldn't). I just wanted restore the window #1 so I thought that I could just open that window by highlighting window #2 and clicked "close" thinking it would open window #1. Wrong! It just closed the tab and left my default home tab. I tried going to 'History', but the "restore previous session" turned gray so I couldn't restore my previous session. I closed the window hoping that I could open up Mozilla again and that tab, to restore previous session, would pop-up again, but it didn't. So I lost my previous session. I am researching how to retrieve 2 previous sessions. I found about going to "troubleshooting information" and then going to see your profiles where there is a folder that says "session-storebackups" but I am unable to open any of those files. I thought that I would be able to open them in Mozilla, but I would get "page cannot be displayed". I then added session management and I got confused on how to use it, especially for opening up 2 previous sessions. Can someone please explain, step-by-step, in how to open those files and get back my previous sessions? The files are in recovery and previous and upgrade- .jsonlz4

recovery - .baklz4

upgrade - js recent date was today, 10/31/17 and the oldest files was 7/8/17 (so I am guessing that my 2 previous sessions has been saved...again I'm GUESSING!)

- Thanks! I really appreciate any help!
