My father uses firefox to get pictures off the net.. usually he drags a picture he wants and drops them and they save .. as jpg or whatever.. recently when he drags a picture from firefox to his desktop it has been saving as an unknown document. If he tries to save the picture by choosing "save image as" it saves fine, as a jpg, but when he goes to open the picture.. it opens in firefox instead of his default program for opening pictures called "Preview". So somehow firefox is making itself the default app for opening pictures. I change it back under "get info" and reset the default app for opening pictures to preview again.. but downloading a new picture starts the process all over again. only started happening a few weeks ago.. was there some kind of update thats made firefox want to be the default program for pictures?
