If I donate to Mozilla does that mean you will remove the annoying advert box permanently?

Your homepage has an annoying add box below the search bar, (which itself behaves badly like the chrome one and forces ones typing to the top of the page search - why?) ... If I donate to Mozilla Firefox - apart from the wondrous gift of Firefox itself, will you remove the annoying add box from the homepage? At the moment its presence is an extreme disincentive for me to contribute at all.

hi phil, if that snippet on the homepage is disturbing you, you can simply close it by clicking on the "x" that appears when you hover over the message. you can also simply set a different custom homepage of your choice: How to set the home page
