I want to disable/turn off plugincontainer.exe on firefox 47.0.1

Its a memory hog and slows my laptop, using XP pro 2gb ram on a toshiba satellite A30 2.5 GHZ

Has anyone got updated instructions for this?

I don't care if flash crashes - its on the way out anyway!
