. Whenever you get a message / popup that software / files need to be updated;

DO NOT USE ANY OF THE PROVIDED LINKS

While this may be a legitimate message, it could also be Malware or a Virus. Any time you want or need to check for upgrades, go to the website of the True Owner of the program in question. For example, to check out Firefox, go to https://www.mozilla.org {web link}

You can report such a site at; Google Report Phishing Page {web link} which is the same when done while on site by going to Help > Report Web Forgery

Phillip, I posted this more to make folks aware of it than as a problem I didn't know what to do with. I play Farmville2 on Zynga and on Facebook. This screen take-over only appears when I play Farmville2, and it only appears on Zynga - not Facebook. Why, I have no idea. First time I thought OK, x-'d out the screen & went to Firefox. no update. Since then I've been trying to see what I do that triggers it, to no avail. Game is too engrossing. But the advice is here absolutely correct. DON'T CLICK IT - IT'S NOT FIREFOX. It's also my hope that Zygna can figure it out and remove the offending parties.
