On Wednesday March 19th from 2PM - 2:15PM PDT (9PM - 9:15PM UTC), we will be performing system maintenance for about 15 minutes, probably less. During that brief maintenance window, the site will be in read-only mode, so users will not be able to login to their accounts or create/modify content.

YouTube (720 HD or Fullscreen) causes Firefox to crash

Playing videos on YouTube in 720HD or in fullscreen mode causes an immediate Firefox crash. I've tried in Safe Mode and the same things cause a Firefox crash. I've gone through the steps on the Mozilla support page to try and troubleshoot the crash, and none of the steps there have resolved the crashing problem with YouTube. Angieslist.com also recently caused a Firefox crash.

Crashes or other problems with certain multimedia content in Firefox (such as YouTube videos and Flash animations or games) can often be resolved by performing the steps in these Knowledge Base articles:

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, those suggestions did not address the problem I'm having with Firefox crashing. I'd already made sure that Flash was up to date, so I'm hoping you have a different suggestion to help fix this problem. I'm going to have to abandon Firefox for Safari or Chrome (neither of which has the crashing problem I'm experiencing with Firefox) if we can't get this resolved, and I'd much prefer to keep using Firefox. Thanks in advance for looking at this again.
