When I play any type of media such as a you tube song, or media from a news source, it plays very badly skipping, running slow, or even hanging the browser. When I run any media on Internet Explorer it runs perfect so I have to go to IE if I want to hear something perfectly. So far I have tried every suggestion and nothing works. Does anyone know how to fix it. BTW...I do have an IE tab set up in Firefox and if I run something in that tab it usually plays ok but not always. I hate to keep switching browsers just to hear something that will play right and I am running the latest Firefox update

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
