Firefox keeps opening new tabs on its own...I've run virus scans and re-downloaded..HELP!
Ok, random tabs open in Firefox often enough to really get annoying. I don't want to switch back to IE (ew), but I will if I can't fix this. Normally,sites for adult products opened. I use Mozilla at office so i don't want to see this.
Here's what I've done to try to correct this problem so far...
-I've reset Firefox at leas 4 times -I've run TDSSKiller rootkit removing tool etc.
Anyone got any better ideas? I really don't want to go back to IE! Please help!!

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of Malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of. Anti-virus applications typicaly don't look for Malware.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.
