Windooze 11. TBird 152.0 installed on June 20th. Now it seems like TBird is not displaying HTML emails properly. They are displayed but not at the beginning. The first line is sometimes just the bottom half of a sentence in the email (if that makes sense). I can't scroll back to the beginning. If I go to outlook and display the same email it displays fine.

Did something change in 152.0 to cause this?

trying to sort my inbox by sender to consolidate ones from a sender. found a solution but could not figure out how. said:

cant figure out where to find the 'view' option

In my Thunderbird I have some folders with names printed italic starting with "INBOX". The folders are empty, so it's easy to delete them. After deleting I don't see the folders anymore. But after shutting down Thunderbird and starting Thunderbird again, the folders are back... How do I delete the folders to not see them anymore?? (see also attached screen print)

Have been using Juno Email Accounts for past 10 years with Thunderbird Email Client Program for downloading Emails off the cloud. It is now more difficult to make contact with Juno for Tech Support. To do Email one has to have an Email Address and Password ... THEN they need the Incoming Email Server with the Type of server ( POP, SMTP, IMAP ) . Long Story Short it is now Impossible to Install Mozilla Thunderbird onto Win10 Machines.

PRELUDE: I have several email accounts. All accounts display properly, except one. Yes, this is similar to my question about bottom of the far left [of emails] list of emails - but this is different.

On the far left of Thunderbird is a list of all my email accounts with "Inbox" etcetera. Each email account shows it's Inbox/Sent/Deleted/ except for 1 account. The problem email account only shows it's Title and Inbox northing else. Yes, I tested it and sent emails to it, and used the problem email account to send, create a draft, and they don't show..

SIMPLIFY THUNDERBIRD IT IS EXCESSIVLY COMPLEX. I CANNOT EVEN SEE HOW TO MOVE MESSAGES FROM THE INBOX TO THE RELEVANT FOLDER IN MY LIST. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE FIREFOX AND THUNDERBIRD ARE OVERCOMPLEX AND NEED SIMPLIFIED. SIMPLES. WHY CANT I COPY AND PASTE THE VERSION NUMBER. BLOODY ARESHOLES . AS I SAID IT IS BLOODY OVERCOMPLEX. AT THIS POINT I AM CONSIDERING GIVING UP ON WHAT IS CLEARLY AN OVERCOMPLEX PIECE OF SOFTWARE THAT REALLY DOESN'T LOOK GOOD EITHER AND THERE IS NO OFFICIAL SUPPORT SO WILL HAVE TO LOOK FOR AN ALTERNATIVE. My wife has been using Thunderbird successfully for many years (and we also donate to Mozilla from time to time) - she's been using her email account ([edited] @frontier.com) for at least 15 years, even after it was transferred over to the Yahoo email server a couple of years ago. Also, she has Windows 11.

Just in the last week, she has experienced serious problems (messages duplicating themselves over & over, & then not being to get any more new email at all (last email she got was on June 28th).

We've upgraded to the latest version of Thunderbird, & I even completely uninstalled & re-installed Thunderbird. I'm at the end of my knowledge & tried everything I know. I'd even be willing to pay for someone's services if we can get these problems fixed.

when I delete a folder which is showing in a light color, message states folder is undouble. I delete it but it re appears when I log back in. How can I permanently delete the folder?

A few days ago I lost all of my saved email messages, plus "sent" emails, and "deleted" emails. I had important information stored there for future use. I am hoping to be able to retrieve it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Thunderbird 140.7.1 i have a subfolder called "purchases" which I add to on a regular basis. Suddenly no messages appear after May 2014 I have logged in directly to the mail server, and all the missing messages are definitely on the server. I have checked the local filters, none are set. I have tried properties/repair. I have tried removing ~/.thunderbird/xxx/ImapMail/mail.myserver.com.au/INBOX.sbd/purchases.msf

Could it be a problem with dovecot indexing on the server? all the other subfolders seem to work fine. It's just this one.

Thunderbird on 2 computers when mails are deleted on first computer it then lands in TRASH but it also deletes them on second computer where it does not land in TRASH.

I have tried the procedure outlined in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cannot-delete-messages#thunderbird:win11:tb152 several times. The account in question is a POP account. The procedure creates a Trash folder that I can see in File Explorer. However it doesn't show up in Thunderbird and i cannot delete any messages in this account.

Here is how I got to this point: I was deleting a two messages that Bitdefender had found were infected. The messages disappeared but so did the Trash folder. I know the infected messages are there somewhere because Bitdefender keeps reporting them. Now I can neither locate these deleted messages nor delete any other message in this account.

I just can't get Thunderbird to work. Will not send or receive emails. I had chat gpt help, still nothing. I tried last year when I had windows 10, still didn't work.
