Hi, I am using Firefox exclusively for my work Claude account, I only check my usage on it. Today, I noticed Firefox silently installed a webapp under $USER/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs, and it has a Claude webapp, which I neither click any install or add to my menu. I found it extremely concerning in terms of privacy, and I am wondering if any other people have similar experience.

I really appreciate Firefox's built in translator; it is extremely helpful. However there is one thing that bugs me, when translating a page that has multiple language options. For example, when translating a page from German to English, the word "Deutsch" (often listed in the website's built in language settings) is translated not to "German", but to "English". While technically correct in that the page is now displaying English thanks to the Firefox translation, it would probably be better to show "German" so that it is easier to switch the website language and not have a duplicate "English" option in the website's dropdown menu. I have noticed this on multiple websites, specifically with German, but it might be with other languages as well. Hopefully this explanation of the issue makes sense, and see my attached screenshot which shows this issue. Please let me know if there is somewhere else I should submit this too.

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

The image search icon and text clear cross do not work in Firefox on particular account on the All tab. It was checked on different devices. If use a different Google account, everything works fine. The problem is only with this specific account. What should i do?

Although the option to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is unchecked in my settings, I am still getting logged out of all websites when Firefox restarts. This was never the case when I used Safari, and it's quite inconvenient to have to log in to so many websites all over again, especially when two factor authentication is required for many of them.

Is there anything that might be causing this, anything I can check or do on my end so that I am staying logged in on restart? Thank you.

Hi everyone, I have a problem on my PC with firefox. I don't have this problem on chrome. When i go to google maps on my PC, my default location is set to Dublin instead of Amiens (France) Could you help me to have my correct default location back ? Thank you

My shortcuts disappeared. They were there this morning. I let my laptop go into standby and, when I woke it up again, the shortcuts were gone.

I have checked my settings and the correct toggles have been toggled. This happened not too long ago and they came back, so I'm not at all sure what the issue is.

i need to change my email since my old email go hacked, so i dont have access to my old email anymore. i still have access to my account since i am logged in on my phone and desktop. I have backup authentication codes if that helps. Codes are getting sent to my hacked email which i dont have access to.

I am concerned that when I signed into my bank account today, the saved username which is autofilled by Firefox had been changed. The change was subtle -- from uppercase to lowercase letters -- but it wasn't me that changed it. This is a site I log in to often, almost every day.

Of course I am worried that this is some sort of hack.

Now the latest update solves the problem of autoplay on YouTube can something be done about viewing the whole site? Videos take forever to load or generally never load and when they do all it shows on the page is the video and nothing else.

I go to my YT history and the page will not load. YT at times says I am offline when in fact I am not because I am also at the same time,while waiting for YT to load, viewing articles and videos on Yahoo and MSN as well as other sites.

This has only started today, March 12th.

Listen I have a profile in another partition in Mint and want to transfer my Bookmarks/profile etc to my new 22.3 install but far too complicated. I also have a previous Key which I no longer wish to use as it has deleted all 20 years worth of messages. Hi everyone,

I’m running into a frustrating issue where Firefox is opening PDFs in two places at once.

The Problem: When I click a PDF link, Firefox opens the file in a new tab (internal viewer) but also launches the standalone Adobe Acrobat app to display the same file. I only want it to open in Firefox.

Details: - Settings: My "Applications" setting for PDF is currently set to "Always Ask." - The Glitch: Even when I manually select "Open in Firefox" from the prompt, Adobe Acrobat launches anyway. - Timeline: This started happening 2 days ago without any manual setting changes (I think it might be after a firefox update? I might be mistaken)

- Troubleshooting done: I have tried toggling the action to "Open in Firefox" directly, but the dual-launch behavior persists.
