I set up my new tab (after the Home page which was Google News for my profile) to show shortcuts in four rows. Clicking on these shortcuts opened the URL for an account or webpage. I "pinned" or "dismissed' these shortcuts over time. Somehow, I lost every shortcut and cannot seem to figure out how to recreate this.

I’ve been using Firefox as my primary browser and overall it works great, but I’ve noticed a slowdown pattern during longer sessions and wanted to compare notes with the community.

After running the browser for several hours with many tabs open, I sometimes see delayed responses when switching tabs, typing in text fields, or opening menus. Nothing crashes, but the interface feels heavier until I restart the browser. Once restarted, performance goes back to normal.

I’ve already tried reviewing extensions, disabling a few that I don’t use often, and checking memory usage in about:performance. The numbers go up as expected with more tabs, but I’m not sure how to judge what is considered normal versus problematic.

Because the issue improves after restart, I’m wondering whether this is typical resource buildup, session handling, or something specific I should be tuning.

How do experienced users usually approach diagnosing gradual slowdowns like this? Are there particular indicators in the built-in tools that suggest a real problem rather than expected behavior?

I am hoping that a permanent fix can be made to the bookmarks toolbar issue where another program may be using a file that allows it to show at the top of my screen. It keeps disappearing and I complete a fix and it disappears later in the week. Thanks Brian

I am unable to log into RBS site on Firefox but I can on Chrome and Edge. What's the problem and how do I fix it? This has only happened in the last couple of days.

Firefox is not allowing me to reach links to medical portal websites to set up accounts saying they can't reach the site and perhaps a firewall is blocking it. I have other accounts on this same portal... HELP please.

When I try to download a statement from my bank I just get a blank page pop up. This used to work with Firefox and it works OK with Chrome. What has changed ...or is there a Firefox setting that is wrong?

I am having an issue where when I right click an image when on the image tab of a search engine, it only has the "Open Image in New Tab" choice in the context menu, with no ability to open the website the image is on in said context menu. ("Open Link in New Tab")

I know this is the opposite of what most folks want, but I see it this way: If you open the image from the context menu right from the search page, it only opens the tiny, fuzzy image that you already could see on the search page. I don't want, nor need, the tiny, pixelated image that I am already looking at.

I want to be able to open it right to the page that the image is on. That way I can see the image in full resolution, or look at the page it is from.

Is there any add-on or code or anything that could help me? I've searched and searched, but nothing I've found has worked.

When a system-wide VPN application (not built into Firefox) is enabled, the behavior of the address bar changes: on the first click, it only shows 5 sites (Top Sites), instead of the usual 9. After pressing the Spacebar, the list from browsing history loads normally. The problem persists after turning off the VPN and only disappears after a full restart of Firefox. As I mentioned I can't seem to access my network folders. I only have this issue in this machine but I have my account on 3 different machines on the network with no issues. All have the same extensions and settings.

I just got a new laptop and so I am getting everything set up the way that I like it. I have come across a problem with my sidebar though. I like to keep my bookmarks up all the time, but I want them to not be too wide and take up a lot of my screen. On this new computer, there's an addition 5 cms or so of white space at the far left of the tool bar. It had different buttons on it up at the top (one of them had something to do with AI) and a little gear down at the bottom of the space. I was able to remove all of the buttons up at the top, but I can't seem to hide the whole thing. I just want to see my bookmarks, without that extra customization sidebar. Is there a way to hide the spot highlighted in pink, but still have the bookmarks visible?

All of a sudden, my Yahoo Mail Contacts doesn't load. The following is the error message where my contacts should be listed. How do I fix this? Thank you
