Hello! I am a user from Russia. Our Roskomnadzor blocks Firefox sync addresses. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult to synchronize browsers on different devices. Can you tell me how to get around this and keep the synchronization option?

My PC was just updated to Firefox 153 and since the app seems to freeze regularly - particularly when accessing (older) silly games such as Bubble Pet Saga - a simplistic CBC game. https://www.cbc.ca/kids/games/play/bubble-pet-saga

I am on release 140.12.1 esr and there appears to be no new updates available. If so, what release should I be on and can I just download and install to get back on the latest release

My Firefox account data seem to have ben ALL deleted after a regular computer restart. There are no backups in the Firefox profile folder either. Years worth of passwords, bookmarks, tabs ALL GONE. After computer restart, when I was restarting Firefox, I vaguely remember a prompt on the screen that Firefox servers don't contain any data for my profile anymore. How could this have been brought on by a computer restart though?Any ideas what is the problem here, and how to recover my profile data? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I've asked this question before, but have gotten no response. Maybe I'm not explaining it clearly enough. I will try again. When I name a new file folder, how do I get it in the correct alphabetical order? I end up making it a subfolder in under another incorrect folder or it does not get in correct alphabetical order. I hope this is clearer to understand. I just don't know how to make it any plainer. Thank you for your kind response.

I've downloaded the Firefox-recommended "search by image" extension. I can't figure out how to actually use it. Watched several videos, but none of those included the "how to use it" aspect.

If someone has time to respond to this, I'll very much appreciate detail and completeness - I'm afraid I'm not very intuitive.

So I just upgraded my pc and it bricked my windows and to reinstall, I forgot to save the Firefox data before doing so because I thought it wouldn't cause any issue, well, now all my bookmarks etc. are gone and I'm wondering if there is some sort of backup somewhere saved by Mozilla in the cloud.

Been to various sites for diag info. I have uninstalled antivirus and tried it, no joy. I have done all the following to each folder - compess, repair, deleted old emails, etc. (I actually have rules that are to do this automatically). I have captured config info, uninstalled and installed fresh. Still have the problem. -- and finally restored so I still have email addresses, etc. etc. This problem has started for me with in the past 2 weeks.

1) ALSO note: I am running W11 home. Mozilla keeps calling this W10. I do not know what the difference is between Home and Pro, but I am planning to upgrade to PRO within 2 months (looking for a reasonable deal on the cost of the upgrade). 2) Wife's computer is W11 Pro, she does not have the problem.

Following some changes in our organization, we had to create new email addresses with new domain names. We have kept the old ones until now but we decided to erase some that had not received emails for a while.

Since we did that, we have encountered some problems regarding one of our computer. We can't send emails because Thunderbird is asking us for the passwords of the deleted email accounts. When we click on cancel, a window opens saying (roughly translated from French): "The email could not be sent. Authentification to the SMTP (outgoing server) failed. Please verify your password and the "Authentification method" in the "Account parameters | Outgoing server (SMTP) menu." The email was sent from a completely different email address than the one linked to the email account.

We deleted the accounts and cannot access this menu. Has it happened to anyone? What would be the solution to be able to send email again on that computer?

On Saturday morning 27 June 2026 I tried to login my Orcon email account via Thunderbird (which I have been using for a long time). But my login didn't work, I got a message saying "login to POP3.orcon.net.nz with username habitation failed." On 30th June 2026 I reported the problem to Orcon.

Orcon gave me the following settings for Thunderbird. I have done that and even made a new account: Incoming Server Type: IMAP Mail Server: imap.orcon.net.nz Port: 143 SSL: Off Authentication: On (username and password required)

Outgoing SMTP Server: Mail Server: smtp.orcon.net.nz Port: 25 SSL: Off Authentication: Off

Since then I have spent many hours and going around in circles with Orcon's Technical Support to resolve this, but no luck. They blame Thunderbird. I used Thunderbird Troubleshoot Mode. The message that comes up reads: login to server mail orcon.net.nz with username habitation failed. Please can you check that your server settings above are correct? And if there is a bug? Irma

Noticed that Firefox on IOS was updated about 17 hours ago, so that may explain the current issue. When I open the app on my phone, it will be on the page I was last on, but would be frozen. Cannot add a new tab. Cannot add an address to in address bar. Nothing can be done u til I force quit the app, and then reopen the app afterwards (as long as I give it a couple seconds afterwards). Didn’t have this issue the day before.

When Thunderbird "thinks" a message is Spam the spam option on the header is already grayed out, is it ok to delete it then and if it is learning what is spam, how come I continue to get spam email from the same senders?

Within the past day or so, which means 7-18-26 or later, some of my email messages on thunderbird for my pc have a "From" description that is not correct. I look at the messages, and the "From" is entirely different than the "From" description when looking at the email message list. I have never encountered this problem before. I'm using thunderbird 152.0.1 64-bit on my pc.
