I'm trying to change my signature on an account I've had for sometime. It lets me make the changes I want and when I try sending a message it works fine. However when I close Thunderbird down and re open it, the signature has reverted to the previous version. I can't see any option to save the changes to the account settings so they'll still be there next time.

I've tried it 2 ways - firstly editing the HTML signature text, and secondly attaching instead a signature file. In both cases it works fine until I close and re-open.

After the last FF update, I can only connect to FF ... no other website! I did a system restore to an earlier date which seemed to make it worse. Absolutely zero content appears on any website I choose to go to. The tab shows the name of the website, however it doesn't "connect."

Please help me rectify this challenge. Thank you.

My computer (Windows 11) crashed while I was using Firefox--for the first time that I've seen, it did a full disk check. When booting back up, I was unable to use Firefox, since it said that my profiles.ini file was lost/corrupted.

After renaming the old file, I went back to the folder. It was easy enough to reinstall the add-ons that I needed, but I'm trying to get my bookmarks back. However, I can't seem to find them--the "bookmarkbackups" folders that come up are too new, and only one (the current one) has a file in it.

Any help will be appreciated! I'm not sure what I can do.

Back in 2015 someone asked about the fact that emails are not marked "as read" once opened but I don't think the answer was ever fully given. They were told: "This option has always been available and I use it. via Menu Bar Tools > Options > Advanced > Reading & Display or via menu icon menu icon > Options > Options > Advanced > Reading & Display select: 'automatically mark messages as read' Select: 'Immediately on display' click on OK When you select/left click an email in the list, it will auto open and display in the Message Pane below the list. If you use double click, it will auto open in a new tab or window depending upon what you selected. In bth instances the message will be immediately marked as read." Here's my problem with that .... I don't use the "Message Pane", I don't like it. I have my incoming messages set at "table view" and they are all just listed down the page by date. I don't want to see what's in the email until I actually open it....but, once I open it and read it when I close out of it the email still stays BOLD in the list....this didn't used to happen, once I read the email the BOLD went away. When I use the "automatically mark message as read immediately on display" then new emails are not in BOLD so I can't tell if they've been read or not. Bottom line, is there a way to have messages marked "read" AFTER they are opened WITHOUT using the message pane??

I am experiencing a significant issue with my website, which fails to load when accessed via Google Chrome. The website works perfectly on other browsers like chrome, Safari, and Edge.However, when attempting to Click here in mozila, the page remains blank and does not load at all. Additionally, I have noticed a persistent problem with reCAPTCHA. Even though I solve the CAPTCHA correctly, it repeatedly appears, preventing me from accessing the site. Im trying to put my email (prkirby@sky.com) on to thunderbird (version 115.12.1 64Bit) running on a windows 11 computer I have 2 other emails which run perfectly All my settings are correct, pop 3 incoming pop.tools.sky.com port 995 outgoing smpt.tools.sky.com port 465 both my username and password are correct, all these settings work when using outlook 2013 pro plus on a computer running windows 7 username and password also work when signing in to emails on different computers When I create the account the message I get is password/usename incorrect Any help will be gratefully received Phil

Hi This morning when I tried to send an email I got a message there was no disk space & so couldn't save copy to sent (I have 848 GB free on HD)

I tried to copy some old sent emails to a folder I've used in the past (old sent) & TB crashed. When I restarted it, many of my subfolders were missing. They are all still showing in Local folders in profile. I deleted all msf files & restarted TB. Nothing.

How can I restore these folders? Hopefully that's possible! Thanks

As stated above I can receive email but cannot send email since the last update over a week ago. Also when adding a bookmark it does not show up anywhere that I can find. I seems that I have lost some bookmarks and now it shows two bookmark menu's.

since the last update (firefox 127.0 or 127.0.1), i can't delete unwanted suggestion from autofil history anymore (the right search engine tool bar words with the clock icon or any website search bar) each time i want to delete the unwanted word, it reappear immediately after in the suggestion list.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness but I must be missing something. I created the new key, copied it to clipboard and to a piece of paper. I went to Thunderbird and typed the new key in when it asked for a password, checking the box for password manager. I've done it twice to no avail. I can't move anything to type it in the account settings.

More thoughts, please. (A grad school friend used to say , in a rich North Carolina accent, it didn't work because you didn't know how to hold your mouth. So I know there's something I'm missing.)

I would like to review a listing of all the extensions recommended by Mozilla for FF. One would think a list exists somewhere. But my searching for recommended extensions have not yielded the anticipated results. I found an article on the recommended extension program, but no list. If the answer is obvious, forgive me, but I didn't see it.

Four days ago the Att server started to refuse my password (I assume that was it). After four changes of password, including in Thunderbird, the password keeps being refused. Have exhausted several att agents who can't figure out why it doesn't work. One thought the server settings were correct.

Just heard from David who advised not to enter the secure key until asked. After the automatic opening cycle when thunderbird seems to be trying to get out, there is a window in which you can put your password. That is where I have put it (twice). Is this not the place.? Or the timing?
