I had said yes to the query - if I wanted firefox to remember the password manager to remember the details at a particular site. Every time the site is now opened, firefox now fills up the login name as well as the pass word.

As I permit my PC to be used by others, I wanted to retract this permission. But I do not know how.

Request your help. Thanks.

Go to Tools > Options > Security. Deselect the option "Remember passwords for sites".

Next, click on the "Saved passwords" button to view the passwords that Firefox has saved for you and delete them. For more instructions, see this article: Viewing and deleting passwords.
